If you haven’t already done so, fill in your details at the following this link (coming soon). Registration details will be shared with participants closer to the event.
Visa
Brazil adopts a visa policy based on the principle of reciprocity. This means that nationals of countries that require visas from Brazilian citizens to enter their territories will also need a visa to travel to Brazil, in accordance with Brazilian migration legislation. To find out if you need a visa and for more information, visit this link.
Vaccination
Health guidance and proof of vaccination: there is no mandatory requirement for proof of vaccination to enter the country. However, the Brazilian Ministry of Health recommends that international travelers update their vaccination status before arriving in Brazil, according to the guidelines of the vaccination calendar of the country of origin or residence, especially against yellow fever, polio, measles, rubella, diphtheria and tetanus and dengue fever.
Vaccination or Covid-19 tests are no longer required for entry into the country.
Airport
If you enter Brazilian territory via a connection at another airport, remember that you must collect your luggage for customs control. After the immigration and customs procedures, the bag must be checked in at the transfer desk for domestic flights.
When leaving the arrivals area, in front of the passenger terminal (first floor), there is the Pick-up Plaza. We suggest that event participants use cab services, or go to the Pick-up Square and request transportation by app or use the other options available.
Currency and exchange
The payment methods used in Brazil are credit/debit cards and cash (the currency is the Real). The MasterCard and Visa card brands are generally accepted in most commercial establishments. However, it is important to note that many places and tourist attractions only accept cash payments.
