Abrelatam
Abrelatam is one of the main and oldest events in Latin America focused on the promotion, research, publication and use of open data, in close proximity to topics such as open government, civic technology, digital government, data journalism, digital rights, smart cities, transparency, accountability, equity, access to information and much more.
Condatos
Condatos is the main annual open data conference in Latin America and the Caribbean that brings together various actors from different sectors, such as the public sector, academia, private companies, civil society and citizens, to participate in conferences, panel discussions and working sessions on issues related to the open data ecosystem and open government.
Coda.Br
The Brazilian Conference on Data Journalism and Digital Methods (Coda.Br) is the main event in the field in Latin America. The event, organized annually by Escola de Dados – Open Knowledge Brasil’s educational program – and major partners, promotes discussions on trends in working with data, hands-on workshops and networking with the field’s main references in Brazil and around the world.
BR Data Week
BR Data Week is an initiative of the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU), the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) and the Ponto BR Information and Coordination Center (NIC.br), which aims to establish a space for exchanging experiences on perspectives, trends and good practices in the world of data.
Open Government Summit
This year, the Open Government Partnership (OGP) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will bring together the open government community to share experiences and strategies for tackling the region’s challenges in areas such as digital governance, civic space, social inclusion and participation, anti-corruption, among others.
