Sunset at Cruzeiro square
This is one of the highest points in Brasília and is therefore a privileged place to watch the sunset. Every Sunday many people gather to picnic and eat at the foodtrucks. Every two weeks there is an event in the square (“Forró do pôr do sol”) to listen to and dance forró, a typical Brazilian dance.

Dom Bosco Ecological Park
The park is located on the shores of Lake Paranoá, near the dam, and offers its visitors exuberant landscapes, as well as trails through the native cerrado. It also has the Ermida Dom Bosco, a chapel dedicated to Don Bosco, patron saint of Brasilia. The monument was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated in 1957.
